Card Club in October–CHRISTMAS!!

That’s right… it’s time to start making your Christmas cards.  ( Well, if you are as slow as I am that is.)   Christmas Card Workshops will be: Thursday, October 27 from 6:30-9:30pm AND Sunday, October 30 from 2-4pm   After seeing some cards created by fellow consultants I decided to create 5 different cards (we will make 3 of each for a total of 15 cards). Can you see the shimmer on the star? Can you see the shimmer on the bird? Can you see the shimmer on the lightbulbs? Can you see the shimmer on the “Merry & Bright” circle? So, would you like to join us?   If you aren't local or can't come to the class, I can mail you a kit that will include my cutting diagrams, instructions, and pictures.  Pre-stamped kits are not available this month.   Thursday, October 27 from 6:30-9:30pm AND Sunday, October 30 from 2-4pm Cost is $25 to make 15 cards (3 each of 5 designs ) Register by Tuesday, October 11th If you can't make it ...

Scrapbook Club in October–Jeepers Creepers

Believe it or not, but Halloween is right around the corner and the NEW Jeepers Creepers collection is perfect for all of your Halloween fun. At my October Scrapbook Club we will create 6 – 12”x12” pages using the Jeepers Creepers paper collection , complements, washi pack, assortment , and more. The page above was created by CTMH with the Workshops Your Way kit .  I chose to change a few things on my pages to make them non-Halloween.  So Jeepers Creepers isn’t only for Halloween. By not using the monster paper or the title this layout can be used for anything. I also used the Happy Thoughts Embossing folder on the Pansy cardstock.  (Love this). The halloween version. I also used my leftover Good Life complements as the titles and embellishments for my pages. Oh, I also used ribbon from the Adventure Ribbon pack . (This page is pictured with each page on the opposite side.) This is one of our exciting new products, Pocket Plus Memory Protectors ....

Idea Book Launch Party

I recently held an Idea Book Launch Party in my studio to celebrate and share the new products of the Annual Inspirations Idea Book.  Thanks to everyone that came out and a special thank you to my dear friend, Holly V, for all of your help. All attendees made 2 cards (that I will share in a separate post) using some of my favorite new products and some of the new colors and papers. I also offered specials on my cash & carry, as well as tickets to win a few prizes.  The grand prize, a new fundamentals paper pack of her choice, went to Kathy Ingram.  YEAH!!!! Thanks again to everyone who came out and placed an order toward the Mystery Hostess Party.  (Mystery hostess will be drawn on Saturday.) Thanks for stopping by. Jaime
