August Card Club–Pop-Up Box with Southern Sass

So I am super behind on blogging and advertising my upcoming Card club, but I wanted to at least have it archived here so we could refer back to it.

This class is unfortunately sold out at this time, but will be held on
Thursday, August 31 from 6:30-9:30pm.

One of the highlights of this class is the pop-up box card. This is not a new concept as I followed the directions from this web page.

This card folds completely flat and fits inside a standard envelope.

This is a new stamp set called Sending Prayers (B1563). I really love the font as well as the sentiments and it looks awesome embossed with Gold embossing powder.

All of the flowers in this workshop were cut from the Flower Market cartridge.

This sentiment is from one of my favorite newest stamp set called Southern Sass (C1687).

The “inside” of this heart is filled with ribbon from the new Basics Ribbon Pack (Z3364).

I just love this sentiment and flower cut from our new 2-toned cardstock.

June Card Club–Sympathy and Get Well

Happy Memorial Day Weekend! I hope you are taking some time this weekend to thank those that have fought for our freedom and remember those that lost their lives defending this country. This weekend is so much more than bright sunny days, grilling food, and spending time with family. I hope you enjoy every aspect of it. Perhaps these cards can also brighten your day. June Stamp of the Month Blog Hop–Ice Cream Dream

Yeah! I am finally getting a chance to participate in another blog hop. We have 50 Close to My Heart Consultants participating in this month’s Stamp of the Month Blog Hop . I chose to make a card with this stamp because I thought it would be perfect for a birthday! I chose a pattern from our How-To-Book, Wishes: Simple Side View . I love the cut-out on the front of the card to reveal a little bit of what is inside. I colored the ice cream truck with some of our ShinHan Markers (Peony Purple, Warm Grey 4, Tender Pink, Turquoise Blue, Golden Yellow, and the Blender for some shading).
