May Scrapbook Club - I Heart Us

This is definitely my favorite collection from this Idea Book (which expires at the end of this month).
In May we will create pages with the amazingly colorful I Heart Us collection at Scrapbook Club.

I love how this layout turned out.  I created a shaker window for the title and used glossy texture paste to add some dimension without adding color to the layout.




 
This collection has some really cute chipboard complements and stickers to embellish your memories.





 This last layout was created by a fellow Canadian consultant Jennifer Smith.




Order now to join us in May for my Monthly Scrapbook Club using the I Heart Us Scrapbooking Workshop Kit.
If you aren’t local simply purchase a kit and I’ll include detailed cutting diagrams, instructions, and color photos of the pages.  Plus you’ll have access to join us Live on Facebook to cut the papers and create your pages along with us.

Cost starts at $57 and includes a full paper packet, coordinating cardstock and all embellishments needed to complete all pages.
If you aren’t local, I can put together a kit for you with all of the products as well as my cutting diagrams, instructions, and pictures of the pages.

June Card Club–Sympathy and Get Well

Happy Memorial Day Weekend!  I hope you are taking some time this weekend to thank those that have fought for our freedom and remember those that lost their lives defending this country.  This weekend is so much more than bright sunny days, grilling food, and spending time with family.  I hope you enjoy every aspect of it. June Stamp of the Month Blog Hop–Ice Cream Dream

Yeah!  I am finally getting a chance to participate in another blog hop.  We have 50 Close to My Heart Consultants participating in this month’s Stamp of the Month Blog Hop .    If you lose your place along the way the complete list of participants can be found here.   If you have come here from Kathleen Androlewicz’s Blog you are on the right path. The June Stamp of the Month is entitled Ice Cream Dream (S1506) (Set of 7). Here is a picture of this stamp set. I chose to make a card with this stamp because I thought it would be perfect for a birthday! I chose a pattern from our How-To-Book, Wishes: Simple Side View .  I love the cut-out on the front of the card to reveal a little bit of what is inside. I colored the ice cream truck with some of our ShinHan Markers (Peony Purple, Warm Grey 4, Tender Pink, Turquoise Blue, Golden Yellow, and the Blender for some shading). Christmas Card Workshop

It's finally here -- all the details about this year's Christmas Card Workshop to be held Sunday, November 3 from 1-5pm. Join me to create 3 each of the 5 designs shown above for a total of 15 cards.   The above card features the upcoming Joy To The World stamp set (B1695) heat embossed with white embossing powder on black cardstock. This card might be my favorite.  It shows off the stamp set, Beachy Little Christmas (D1897). This card is straight out of the Idea Book and shows how easy it is to create with the Buttoned Up Thin Cuts (Z3524) and Holiday Trimmings stamp set (C1810).
