April Special–Deal of the Day

Score a deal each day during April with Close To My Heart!

Love a great deal?  How about 30 days of great deals?  During the month of April, you have the opportunity to score a deal every day with Close To My Heart!  What deals are we talking about?  Each day during April, while supplies last, we'll feature a random grab bag filled with current and retired Close To My Heart products available for purchase at a major discount.

To grab your bag, simply place any current, full-priced item in your online shopping cart through my website and you will then be eligible to purchase as many grab bags as you wish (while supplies last)!

Grab bags will be featured at five different price points throughout the month.  Some grab bags will contain product with more than DOUBLE the retail value of the price you pay!

Grab bags will be available for 24 hours starting at 3pm MDT each day (that’s 5pm Eastern) and only while supplies last - so visit often and early!

Remember that grab bag tiers will be featured on a random schedule throughout the month, so seize the opportunity to purchase from the grab bag tier you're interested in when it becomes available because it might not come around again!

*Offer valid April 1, 2015 (3pm MDT) - May 1, 2015 (2:50pm MDT).  A given grab bag offer will only be available for 24 hours each day starting at 3:00pm MDT through my website.  Tax and shipping/handling will be charged based on the amount actually paid for the grab bag(s).  Amounts paid for grab bag(s) are not eligible for Gathering totals and Hostess Rewards.

Thanks for stopping by.

June Card Club–Sympathy and Get Well

Happy Memorial Day Weekend!  I hope you are taking some time this weekend to thank those that have fought for our freedom and remember those that lost their lives defending this country.  This weekend is so much more than bright sunny days, grilling food, and spending time with family.  I hope you enjoy every aspect of it. Perhaps these cards can also brighten your day. These are the cards that we will create at my June Card Club on Thursday, June 30 from 6:30-9:30pm . Per requests from my regular attendees, I chose to focus on sympathy and get well cards. This card features a retired stamp set, Kiss It Better , but I really wanted to use it. I love how the band-aids act as closures to the ripped card front. This card is much easier than it looks.  The flower is just circles that have been folded.  I added a stem from our Artiste Cricut collection (which is retiring on July 31 by the way). Having a bad day? This card is sure to brighten it and give...

June Stamp of the Month Blog Hop–Ice Cream Dream

Yeah!  I am finally getting a chance to participate in another blog hop.  We have 50 Close to My Heart Consultants participating in this month’s Stamp of the Month Blog Hop .    If you lose your place along the way the complete list of participants can be found here.   If you have come here from Kathleen Androlewicz’s Blog you are on the right path. The June Stamp of the Month is entitled Ice Cream Dream (S1506) (Set of 7). Here is a picture of this stamp set. I chose to make a card with this stamp because I thought it would be perfect for a birthday! I chose a pattern from our How-To-Book, Wishes: Simple Side View .  I love the cut-out on the front of the card to reveal a little bit of what is inside. I colored the ice cream truck with some of our ShinHan Markers (Peony Purple, Warm Grey 4, Tender Pink, Turquoise Blue, Golden Yellow, and the Blender for some shading). Then I simply added some of our new washi tape from the Ca...

Christmas Card Workshop

It's finally here -- all the details about this year's Christmas Card Workshop to be held Sunday, November 3 from 1-5pm. Join me to create 3 each of the 5 designs shown above for a total of 15 cards.   The above card features the upcoming Joy To The World stamp set (B1695) heat embossed with white embossing powder on black cardstock. This card might be my favorite.  It shows off the stamp set, Beachy Little Christmas (D1897). This card is straight out of the Idea Book and shows how easy it is to create with the Buttoned Up Thin Cuts (Z3524) and Holiday Trimmings stamp set (C1810). This elf is so cute and comes from the Holly Jolly Cardmaking Workshop Kit (G1191).  I LOVE a shaker card!   Ok, this card might also be my favorite.  I used the Merry Christmas Tree stamp set (C1804), The Savior is Born stamp set (M1260), and the Multi Square Windows Thin Cut (Z4023). Please join me live and in person (or virtually via Facebook) on Sun...
