What’s in a Grab Bag?

Happy day!  My grab bag came today.  (If you also ordered a grab bag on April 1st and don’t have yours yet, don’t panic, I upgraded the shipping on mine so that I would have it quickly to share with all of you.)

$35 Grab Bag (1)

I purchased a $35 grab bag and received $80.50 worth of product.  Three of the items are retired, but everything else is current.

$35 Grab Bag (2)

I received the Later Sk8r Picture My Life A la carte Scrapbooking Program (Z3056).  (78 – 3”x4” and 44 – 4”x6” cards)

$35 Grab Bag (3)

I received the Laughing Lola Picture My Life A la carte Scrapbooking Program (Z3055).  (78 – 3”x4” and 44 – 4”x6” cards)

$35 Grab Bag (4)

I also received a pack of the Seasonings Tweetings Gift Bags (retired).  As well as a roll each of the Blue & Red Striped Twill Ribbon (both retired and pictured in the first picture).

$35 Grab Bag (5)

And last, 4 rolls of washi tape (all current), Gold Polka-Dot (Z1920), Honey Triangles (Z1931), Black Arrow (Z2003), and Ruby Chevron (Z1933).

As well as a roll of the Teal Shimmer Trim (Z1918) – I love this stuff.  (Pictured in the 1st picture)

Remember each day in April, CTMH will feature a random grab bag filled with current and retired Close To My Heart products available for purchase at a major discount.

To grab your bag, simply place any current, full-priced item in your online shopping cart through my website and you will then be eligible to purchase as many grab bags as you wish (while supplies last)!

Grab bags will be featured at five different price points throughout the month.  Some grab bags will contain product with more than DOUBLE the retail value of the price you pay!

Grab bags will be available for 24 hours starting at 3pm MDT each day (that’s 5pm Eastern) and only while supplies last - so visit often and early!

Today’s grab bag is $150 and will have an average of $325 worth of product!  If you purchase today’s $150 grab bag I will give you a special treat, but I'm not telling you what it is until after 5pm today. Remember this grab bag will only be available until 5pm today.

Who's in?

Thanks for stopping by.

June Card Club–Sympathy and Get Well

Happy Memorial Day Weekend!  I hope you are taking some time this weekend to thank those that have fought for our freedom and remember those that lost their lives defending this country.  This weekend is so much more than bright sunny days, grilling food, and spending time with family.  I hope you enjoy every aspect of it. Perhaps these cards can also brighten your day. These are the cards that we will create at my June Card Club on Thursday, June 30 from 6:30-9:30pm . Per requests from my regular attendees, I chose to focus on sympathy and get well cards. This card features a retired stamp set, Kiss It Better , but I really wanted to use it. I love how the band-aids act as closures to the ripped card front. This card is much easier than it looks.  The flower is just circles that have been folded.  I added a stem from our Artiste Cricut collection (which is retiring on July 31 by the way). Having a bad day? This card is sure to brighten it and give you some encouraging wo

June Stamp of the Month Blog Hop–Ice Cream Dream

Yeah!  I am finally getting a chance to participate in another blog hop.  We have 50 Close to My Heart Consultants participating in this month’s Stamp of the Month Blog Hop .    If you lose your place along the way the complete list of participants can be found here.   If you have come here from Kathleen Androlewicz’s Blog you are on the right path. The June Stamp of the Month is entitled Ice Cream Dream (S1506) (Set of 7). Here is a picture of this stamp set. I chose to make a card with this stamp because I thought it would be perfect for a birthday! I chose a pattern from our How-To-Book, Wishes: Simple Side View .  I love the cut-out on the front of the card to reveal a little bit of what is inside. I colored the ice cream truck with some of our ShinHan Markers (Peony Purple, Warm Grey 4, Tender Pink, Turquoise Blue, Golden Yellow, and the Blender for some shading). Then I simply added some of our new washi tape from the Carnival Washi Tape pack (Z3067), s
